THE THINGS MINE EYES HAVE SEEN

I have seen a lot in this Spice Isle since my starry-eyed years of political awareness as a teenager. I saw the Mongoose Gang in action and I saw the overthrow of Eric Gairy. In those days, my political eyes were not well-formed. The brutal excesses of the Revolution I saw up until the criminalisation of power in October 1983. I thought my eyes could not bear anymore.

BUSINESS UNUSUAL

As Caribbean governments face increasing pressure to bring benefits to their people, it is becoming obvious that some of our leaders are succumbing to strong arm tactics, backroom deals and sometimes under the table and out of sight arrangements to support the endless cycle of promises they are called upon to make as the election wheel begins to turn.

A RAMPANT DIVA CULTURE

When we give them the Government, somethings happen to us!   For the last forty years, whether NJM or NNP or NDC, we have been chasing donkeys; getting things wrong more often than right. Today, we are surrounded by a distressing, un-productive diva culture where significant sections of the population 'live light and weigh heavy'! Tomorrow, Grenadians will pay a price for this deception.
