ST. DAVID RESIDENT ON DRUG CHARGES

St. George -- What was a routine farm patrol for officers of the Praedial Larceny Task Force of the St. David Police Station resulted in the seizure of 96 units of cannabis trees and the arrest of a 50 year-old resident of Pomme Rose (St. David) on Wednesday.

MEN JOINTLY CHARGED WITH RAPE

St. George -- Police investigators have arrested and formally charged two St. David residents with the rape of a 23 years old St. George female resident.

DOMESTIC VIOLENCE

St. George -- The New National Party's caretaker for the St. David constituency, Henry Gabriel has been released on bail.

Gabriel was arrested by the Royal Grenada Police Force over New Year holiday following a domestic violence incident, and charged with causing harm and assault with a dangerous weapon under the Domestic Violence Act.

The victim was his live-in companion.

He has been released on $6,000 bail with sureity and is expected to make his first court appearance on January 7.

ST. JOHN RESIDENT ON DRUG RELATED CHARGES

SNUG CORNER RESIDENT CHARGED WITH NON-CAPITAL MURDER

St. George -- A 58 year old Mt. Nesbit (St. John) resident is due to appear at the St. George's Magistrate's Court at 09:00 a.m. on Friday on drug related charges.
