RECORD-BREAKING POTATO GROWN AT BELAIR NURSERY

Hillsborough -- The Agriculture Division within the Ministry of Carriacou and Petite Martinique Affairs is celebrating as workers at the Belair Nursery unearthed the largest sweet potato (11 pounds) to ever to be grown there.

Head of the Agriculture, Division Benson Patrice, is elated and that the potatoes are all organically grown -- just like all the plants grown at the nursery. The Belair Nursery grows a wide variety of fruits and vegetables and supplies seedlings to farmers and the general public.
