TRINBAGONIAN RESCUED AT SEA

St. George -- A Tobagonian fisherman has been rescued at sea two days after leaving his Plymouth (Tobago) residence on a fishing expedition.

31 year old Rennie Richardson left his home on Sunday morning to go fishing in his 23-feet speed boat "Stamina" and failed to return home.  He subsequently reported encountering adverse weather conditions which led to him go adrift.

Richardson was found 10½ miles south east of Grenada at about 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday by a resident of St. Andrew who was out fishing at the time, and was taken to Princess Alice hospital where he was examined and later released.

Information about his rescue was relayed to his relatives and the relevant authority in Trinidad and Tobago.

He, along with his boat and a Trinidad Coast Guard cutter, will depart Grenada on Friday.
