Written by on August 16, 2017

Enough is enough!!!!  So says the acting president of the Grenada Steel Band Association, David “Peck” Edwards.  At a media conference held on Wednesday afternoon, the association’s public relations officer, Brian Sylvester again called for the resignation of the entire board of Spicemas and announced — contrary to a statement issued by the Government Information Service on Monday — that there will be no Panorama on Saturday: SYLVESTER-The steel band association is appalled

Sylvester made it clear that the Steel Band Association had no responsibility for the construction of the stage as has been alleged in some circles: SYLVESTER-It must be made known

He explained the scenario which led up to the events which unfolded on Saturday evening: SYLVESTER-The SMC basically said this

In addition to the demands for the resignation of the Spicemas board, the association’s president had some additional demands: EDWARDS- It has been agreed
