MINISTER FOR AGRICULTURE, LANDS, FORESTRY AND FISHERIES TO ATTEND MINISTERIAL MEETING IN EL SALVADOR

St. George – Minister for Agriculture, Lands, Forestry and Fisheries Hon. Yolande Bain-Horsford will be attending the III Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC) Action Plan Ministerial meeting in El Salvador, on "family farming and rural development" from November 9th – 11th.

PM MITCHELL PLEDGES COMPENSATION FOR FARMERS

ST. GEORGE -- Cognizant of the damage brought on by the weather system in some areas of the country on November 1st, Prime Minister Keith Mitchell has instructed the Ministry of Agriculture to work with Parliamentarians in the affected areas to immediately assess and ascertain the damage suffered by farmers due to the heavy rains and flooding.
