St. George -- The National Parenting Program, under the Ministry of Social Development, will host a Graduation Ceremony for graduates of the "Parenting Education and Training Course."

SOCIAL AND LIFE SKILLS CURRICULA

St. George – Work on development of the Social and Life Skills Curricula for primary and secondary schools has been completed and the document is now ready for distribution.

I am very pleased and honored to be asked by Senator Joan Purcell, President of the Senate to make some remarks at this opening ceremony as preparations are made to commence the start of a two day seminar entitled, ''Vision of Change,'' geared towards our future Youth Parliamentarians.

COMMENCEMENT OF THE NEW SCHOOL YEAR

As the new school year, 2012 to 2013, begins, the Drug Control Secretariat wishes to congratulate all staff and students on their return to school.  We also wish to congratulate the new students who entered primary or secondary schools.
