ANSLEM PETER'S SCHOLARSHIP FUND

St. John -- The Anslem Peters scholarship Fund (APSF) made its 9th Annual Award Presentation on Thursday at the Gouyave Public Library. The awards were made to the four students already sponsored, and the three new ones beginning this school year.  Completion certificates were also issued to the three students who have exited and have benefited from the program over the past five years.

SAFETY AT SEA TRAINING IN THE REPUBLIC OF TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO

Beausejour -- In 2014, the Basic Needs Trust Fund (BNTF) with the cooperation of the Ministry of Carriacou and Petite Martinique Affairs, introduced a Standard Training Certification and Watch-keeping (STCW) Basic Safety at Sea Training Program for Seafarers over the age of 18 years to Carriacou and Petite Martinique.
