GRENADIAN STUDENTS CONTINUE TO RECEIVE BURSARY ASSISTANCE FROM REPUBLIC BANK

St. George --  For academic year 2015/2016, thirteen students are benefitting from the Republic Bank UWI Open Campus Bursary Programme. For this semester, $20,306.00 were paid to support Grenadian students pursuing higher learning through the UWI Open Campus Programme.

EDWARD R. MURROW PRESS FELLOWSHIP

Launched in 1949 with support from the Carnegie Corporation, the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) Edward R. Murrow Press Fellowship seeks to promote the quality of responsible and discerning journalism that exemplified the work of Edward R. Murrow. In 1965, the program was renamed in his honor and is supported by the CBS Foundation and Ford Foundation. One CFR resident fellowship is awarded each year to a distinguished foreign correspondent or editor.

THREE GRENADIANS EARNED DEGREES AT MWSU'S FALL SEMESTER COMMENCEMENT

Wichita Falls -- Three students from Grenada have earned degrees at Midwestern State University's fall semester Commencement.  They were among 20 Caribbean students who "walked the stage" in the bi-annual event.
