WHY NOT GRENADIANS IN THE DIASPORA?
Astronauts can vote from space. It is not by absentee ballot; they vote on a computer that sends an encrypted message to the county clerk where they live.
It is true that as long as your name is on the voters list, you are eligible to vote; but the nationals in the Diaspora will have to travel to Grenada to do so.
They should be able to register and vote in the consular/foreign offices where they are located. Each office should be an additional polling station on election/referendum day. This proposal will require an amendment to the Constitution which should be done this time to avoid Grenadians (thousands) living in the diaspora being disenfranchised.
Let us correct this and many other matters in true constitution reform. Inclusion of our nationals in the diaspora is more important than an 'e' in Petite Martinique.
