The group, whose motto is "Helping you to help others," was formed in 2004 as part of recovery efforts after Hurricane Ivan devastated the north/east coast of Grenada. Since then the group has evolved into a viable non-profit community organization, truly living up to the dictates of its motto by providing a 'helping hand' wherever necessary -- both here in Toronto and in Grenada. In August of this year (2012) the group will stage a reunion spanning August 5th – 23rd, 2012 and include participation in community development projects in Boca and surrounding areas.
