NEW PERMANENT SECRETARY APPOINTED

Hillsborough - Educator Gertrude Simon-Niles has been appointed to the post of Permanent Secretary for the Ministry of Carriacou and Petite Martinique Affairs.

Employed within the public service from 1979, Mrs. Niles brings with her a wealth of experience, having served as a teacher, principal and area education officer.

Her vision, she said, "Is to ensure that the Ministry of Carriacou and Petite Martinique Affairs is managed effectively so that every citizen in the twin isle parish can benefit from the programs of the Government of Grenada."

MULTIPLE COMMUNITIES TO BENEFIT FROM WATER NETWORK UPGRADE

Grenada -- From May 21st, 2013 to August 31st, 2013, the National Water and Sewerage Authority (NAWASA) will invest $540,000 on the upgrading of the network of transmission main and raw water lines from the St. Hilliar Water Tank in Grand Bras, St. Andrew.

GRENADA'S LATEST BOOK PUBLICATION LAUNCHED AT CALABASH HOTEL
