HER MAJESTY THE QUEEN TO HONOUR YOUNG PERSON FROM GRENADA WITH QUEEN'S YOUNG LEADERS AWARD

Her Majesty The Queen will present a Queen's Young Leaders Award to an exceptional young person from Grenada at a ceremony at Buckingham Palace, London on Thursday 29th June. The Award celebrates inspiring young people from all over the Commonwealth who are dedicated to driving change in their communities and beyond.

This year's Award winner, twenty-eight-year-old Michael Thomas has been chosen in recognition of his work championing diversity and inclusivity in Grenada.

Michael will be representing Grenada as he joins winners from across the Commonwealth in the UK for a programme of inspiring meetings, networking opportunities and bespoke training and mentoring, all designed to help them to develop as leaders and work with ever greater impact to transform people's lives.

GRENADA TOURISM AUTHORITY SUCCEEDS IN STRENGTHENING TOURISM TIES DURING CTO WEEK NEW YORK

St. George — Caribbean Week in New York, hosted by the Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO), proved to be a successful endeavor for the promotion of Grenada's tourism product. Grenada's delegation was led by Minister of Tourism and Civil Aviation, the Hon. Dr. Clarice Modeste-Curwen; Chief Executive Officer of the Grenada Tourism Authority, Ms. Patricia Maher and Director of Sales and Marketing (USA), Mrs. Christine Noel-Hosrford.
