A 21 year old fisherman of St. Andrew has pleaded guilty to trafficking of a controlled drug, and awaiting sentencing.
John Rogers of Mt. Sealey was nabbed on Monday when a fishing vessel which he operated was intercepted in the Soubise area with a quantity of compressed marijuana. The drugs when weighed totaled one hundred and eleven pounds.
Rogers was immediately taken to the Grenville Magistrate’s Court where he pleaded guilty. His sentencing date is scheduled for December 11th 2017
