CUSTOMS ACT AMENDED TO CLARIFY FUNCTIONS OF MINISTER

The Upper House has passed the Customs Amendment Act giving more clarity to the functions of the Minister on regulation matters such as the establishment and licencing of custom brokers and tariff clerks.  The amendment was brought before the House by Sen. Nolan Cox, Parliamentary Secretary for Carriacou and Petite Martinique Affairs: COX
